Who is Rutger?

Rutger is a quiet man with a mild intellectual disability. He is a good talker and can be direct. He needs time to get to know you. He likes to go to Nijkerk, an outing every now and then, he loves animals (he works at the petting zoo) and he is a member of the billiards club. He is in possession of an OV plus card and Valys.

He can walk reasonably, but not very long distances. He uses a walker outside the house.

What does Rutger ask?

He needs a volunteer who will accept him as he is. Someone who sets boundaries. Of course someone he clicks with. Someone who talks light-heartedly and clearly, with sentences that are not too difficult. Preferably a man with whom he can do something every now and then. Such as visiting a city or village, for example Volendam or Nijkerk. But also once to the city to buy a fish on the market. Rutger is often able to, so there is no fixed day. Preferably in possession of a car if you want to go further afield.

Think of taking a walk, playing a game or just having a good conversation while enjoying a cup of coffee.
