Who likes to work with wood?

Who is it about?

It concerns a young man with a mild intellectual disability. He is mobile and self-reliant in the ADL. He's a bit shy. During the day he goes independently to the Hout en Groen daytime activities, this is a location outside the site in the Woudhuis district. There is a lot of outdoor work here. He likes to make bird houses and other simple wood products.

What does he ask?

It would be nice for him if a volunteer comes once a week on a fixed day who, for example, comes to work with him from 10:00-12:00 or from 13:00-15:00 during the daytime activities. He is familiar with making bird houses, but other simple products can also be made according to his own insight. Affinity with woodworking is therefore pleasant. There is no preference for a man or woman. It is important that it is someone with a little life experience. The day and time are in consultation.
