In this workshop you will learn through: tips and knowledge about wheelchair skills how people with a physical disability handle their wheelchair.Detailed description
Diana Krans, exercise psychologist and psychomotor therapist from Klimmendaal, takes you into the world of wheelchair skills in a fun, active way.
You will learn how you, as a volunteer, experience how people with a physical disability deal with their wheelchair and what options there are if you are dependent on a wheelchair. Fun is also central this evening because we end with a game of wheelchair basketball (not mandatory, you can also just laugh at the others...).
Location
The workshop will be held on Tuesday evening, March 19 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Revalidatiecentrum Klimmendaal, Arnhemseweg 11 in Apeldoorn. There is ample parking.

This theme meeting is organized by the Expertise Promotion working group for volunteers who work with people with disabilities. Participating in this are: Apeldoorn Pakt Aan, De Kap, De Klup, Klimmendaal, MEE Samen, Riwis, De Passarel, Uniek sports and Zorggroep Apeldoorn. Every year we jointly organize theme meetings for volunteers from Apeldoorn who work with people with disabilities.
