About TV VEGO

The tennis park is owned by the association, which runs entirely on the initiative and enthusiasm of its members. TV VEGO is accessible to every type of player. The club pays attention to competitive players, recreational tennis players and youth. TV VEGO organizes numerous activities during the season, from tournaments and raffle pot evenings to a Klaverjas competition.


FACILITIES
The association has six illuminated Smashcourt courts and clubhouse accommodation with changing rooms. Thanks to the construction of the Smashcourt courts, tennis can be played all year round. TV VEGO is the only tennis club in Gelderland where the clay courts have been replaced by these tennis force courts. The advantage of this type of course is that water is drained very quickly, it has the playing properties of clay and can still be played all year round. At TV VEGO you can play tennis 12 months a year!


SMASH COURT
Six courts are equipped with "SmashCourt". Smashcourt is a surface for tennis courts that is very similar to artificial grass in terms of playing properties, but resembles clay in color and appearance. Smashcourt is more resistant to weather conditions than gravel, especially if this court is also constructed on a lava surface, and can therefore be played all year round. Smashcourt belongs to the category 'Red sand artificial grass courts'.
